Convoys of driverless trucks could be trialled on UK roads as soon as next year, with plans to roll them out on quiet motorways in the near future. Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing (pictured) will debut at Goodwood this week. We’re big fans of the Citroen DS3, and the DS3 Cabrio manages to be something most cabrios aren’t – as good to look at as their coupe siblings. So the news that Citroen has decided to fill a niche in the DS3 range by taking the extreme DS3 – the DS3 Racing – and blending it with the cabrio to create the DS3 Cabrio Racing should come as no surprise.
SEAT goes butch with the SEAT Leon X-Perience. SEAT seems to be launching the Leon X-Perience as a precursor to the arrival of a proper SEAT SUV in a year or two to get buyers used to the idea that SEAT can produce butch crossovers. That said, the SEAT Leon X-Perience is a valid standalone model – much in the mould of cars like Audi’s Allroad, the Citroen C5 CrossTourer and VW Passat Alltrack – as a butched-up estate car with some off-road pretensions and better equipped to deal with the urban jungle too.
